AMERICAN FILM ADAPTATION OF THE DINNER

The movie The Dinner, based on the bestseller by Herman Koch, is now edited and complete.

Director Oren Moverman has worked with an all-star cast: Richard Gere, Rebecca Hall, Laura Linney, Steve Coogan and Chloë Sevigny. It is the third film adaptation of the novel, after the Dutch Eyeworks version by Menno Meyes and the Italian production I nostri ragazzi.

The Dinner

Two couples go out for dinner one evening. They talk about everyday things, but all the while they are avoiding what they should really be discussing: their children, who have done something that could destroy their future. 2014 marks five years since the publication of The Dinner by Herman Koch. In that time, the book has become an international success, sold to 37 countries, from Russia to the US, Bulgaria to Ethiopia.
